Youth Forum State Level 2018

On 27th of June 2018, the Sandakan’s representatives for youth forums in state level had departed to the capital of Sabah, kota Kinabalu. Due to the winning in district level, SMK Datuk Pengiran Galpam has been chosen to represent Sandakan for the youth forums which was organised by Dewan bahasa dan pustaka (DBP) associate with Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN) kampus wilayah sabah and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Our school was very glad to know that Sandakan team had won the first-runner up in this competition. Even though they had lost to SMK Taman Tun Fuad Stephens, Kota Kinabalu but it still a very good achievement. As for information, the second- runner up goes to SMK Kunak, Kunak. The “warriors” for the Sandakan team which is from our school was Mohd Hesyam Bin Haris (K5S3) as the Pengerusi, Mohd Hafizi Bin Hussne (K7S3) and Nurul Syahirah Idayu Binti Hussne (K4S3) as the panel discussion 1 and pane discussion 2 respectively. The responsibility as panel discussion 3 was carried by Mariana Binti Mohamad from S2S3 while Mohd Walafuddin Maliq Bin Ahmad as a main backup for this. Our school wants to congratulate them for their excellent achievement and hope that they can go further in this field. Congrats Team!!! And a big thanks to Cikgu Azfar and Cikgu Asmadi as the backbone of this team for their commitment to ensure that Sandakan team did their best in this youth forums.
